Broken Expressions is the first taste of a body of work that goodmood (Lewis Moody) has been developing since the Winter 2020, the silver lining from a lockdown spent in his London studio.
Broken Expressions hopes to contextualise Moody's upbringing in the Australian Jazz/Jazz Doof scene, incorporating influences from the northern hemisphere into a work that pays respect to the storied history of London Broken Beat and Detroit House, finding a fresh approach within the Jazz idiom.
